How’d you get into skating boards?
I’ve been on the water most my life, but was no good at the strap-in game, so I made the switch and never looked back.

Where do you currently reside, or what waterways are you murkin’?
I’m a bit of a gypsy, I’m home right now temporarily but I was shreddin’ the Okanagan area this last summer.

I don’t know, probably because if all the other wakeskaters out there are like me they’re probably on TheWakeskateMag.com reading sweet articles.

You keep your scene tight or what?
Bro. Guy. My scene’s mad tight. We got a good group of riders up here. Skateboarding, building stuff, riding tons, and winching.

Nice, how does winching usually go for you in the Okanagan area in the public eye?
Well there’s always a story, normally an argument, and almost always a fight… People are pretty bro’d out and generally crazy around those parts.

Fill us in on what you mean by that.
Well me and Dusty (O’Ferrall) were trying to bend a sign down to make a pole jam in a flooded dog park and some tatted up five foot nothing tough guy wearing camo capris holding a pink dog leash got up in my face and said he was gonna bash my face in and rip my eyes out or something.

What was the outcome?
Just flexed him and he was outta there. It was close to needing to resort to violence.

Who do you look up to on the water?
That’s a tough one. So many sick styles out there. Andrew’s [Pastura] parts are always sick to watch.

What style of riding most interests you and why?
I get stoked when I see something done that’s skate influenced.

In what ways do you find inspiration outside of wakeskating?
I like building shit, trying to be good on a skateboard, working on stereos, customizing cars/boats/seadoos, basic bullshit.

Wakesurf or Razor scootering?
Both too extreme for me.
